On November 11th Canada commemorates Remembrance Day; an honouring of all members of the armed forces who have served, continue to serve our country, and those who have fallen defending Canada and its allies.
In Canada, Remembrance Day is a federal statutory holiday (with the exception of Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Ontario and Quebec). For those who are able to, and would like to attend, the National War Memorial in Ottawa will be hosting a Remembrance Day Ceremony from 10:20 am to 12:00 pm to pay tribute to those who have served in Canada’s military.
